Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny on Saturday lost his appeal
Kremlin pundit Alexei Navalny on Saturday lost his allure against what he said was a politically spurred choice to imprison him for almost three years.
A Moscow court did anyway abbreviate his unique prison term by about a month and a half. The first term was 3.5 years yet, with the measure of time he has just spent under house capture considered, added up to around two years and eight months.
Navalny was imprisoned on Feb. 2 for purportedly abusing parole, charges he has excused as politically inspired.
